We picture them as Welcome Happiness in our minds - but these aren't children anymore, they are women -and SEXY women at that. (ok maybe not Momoko but still)
There is a mic recording at some play where Hitomi and Rika were speculating among themselves that Miyabi carries herself as someone who was sexually experienced, so you're not the only one speculating about the Berryz ...
This sounds like Resop
fan fiction... haha
If not Rika really needs to learn her lesson about these mics.

That's the fanon or canon thread, as in the Heard it Through the Grapevine category.

I'm not whining so much about the song (that we haven't heard yet) but about the potential disastrous PV and bad numbers for their 30th single. When UFA thinks of sexy Berryz, they think of $1 USD pink pajamas, ass rubbing in red plastic wrappings and Lady Gaga wigs. For some reason sexy °C-ute is always pretty classy, while the dance in Ai no Dangan is downright SDN48-worthy.
And, yes, "sexy" songs rarely make it to my iPod (let alone to my shopping cart).

^ Alls everybody else is saying is lets wait for the match starts before throwing in the towel. H!P has been pretty sharp this year, let's at least consider the possibility that they may be able to advance their notion of "sexy" beyond this: (WARNING: POSSIBLY NSFL)

Yeah, I'll be okay if this is Aitai Aitai Aitai na-sexy and not STD48-sexy. In any case, I can always count on Momokuro to be the Berryz UFA doesn't want Berryz to be

Imagine her surprise that it wasn't a flashlight after all.

Lol, that seems about right. I don't follow them that closely but even so, IMO momoka >>>>>>> momoko, at least.

This is how I read it, and it still sounded like something I could agree with.

Yeah, honestly, I'm fine with sexy as long as it isn't "trying to hard" sexy that was Ai no Dangan butt scratching move and the PJs from Aa, whatever. Sexy is either overt (Like say the Pussy Cat Dolls) or subtle (C-ute's Aitai na) and whatever they were doing with those two videos were like.... awkward. If you're going to do all out sexy, the outfits need to be sexy (Which they were in Ai no Dangan, but not in aa, whatever), the dance needs to be sexy (Neither of them), the look, everything. SO FAR UF has come across sexy by accident and when they try for sexy it comes off as awkward and forced, so we'll see.
I'd prefer they go the route of Aitai na, which was nice and subtle but still fun

^ She gets it. The thing is, "sexy" is already my absolute least favorite kind of single already, so "sexy" done wrong is downright unbearable

Gladly the songs themselves weren't bad at all in 2011, just far from favorite material in my personal case. I'm a bit worried because Ai no Dangan was heavily promoted and it still bombed, they need to do something so this does well.
Since it's just so wrong for young girls to sing happy songs, why not a ballad? That's way, way more mature than whiny love songs with slutty choreographies. Something rock-ish? Is that kiddy and unacceptable too?
