Lol, I was looking at the previous person's post which shows an image of Mari, so I was totally thinking Mari instead of Risa.

I think the first time I saw, ahem, Risa was in Sou da with her cute little "WE ALIVE!!!"

I played that PV incessantly for months. Looking back, it was kind of a hot mess both as a video and as a song (a continuation in a long line of Tsunku's Russian-fetish works), but they were at the top of their game in terms of self-confidence and boundless energy, and Kaorin in those days was heart-stopping. Even Cowgirl Mari was hella cute. That was the Morning Musume I fell in love with.
