the PV is even more unusual than i thought it was going to be. 
if the song wasn't so awesome maybe i'd have had a problem with it, but i was entertained all the way through! except the puppets annoyed me, cuz i felt it was very Hikki in Goodbye Happiness and i'm sorry but you don't touch my Hikki. 
i doubt it was Kikka's idea though, so i won't hold it against her.

I still think the scrolling snapshots… thing is poorly executed, but having seen the rest of the video, I think I'm in love. I even like the puppets, not so much for the puppets themselves as for her deadpan expression behind the puppets. It's hard to do well; most people's deadpan expressions look just plain mean. But she looks like she's about to break out laughing, and that's perfect.

I don't think I've ever seen a single Utada PB, so I don't suffer from the puppet angst. I do have a bit of an issue with them because they don'tr seem to be mouthing along properly with the lines a lot of the time, but maybe it's a Japanese pronunciation issue.
My main thing is like, what the hell, why didn't they show clips from the "natural" part of the PV in their promo? T^T
Anyway, I very much like it. To bad for her sales that I'm buying the album instead of this.

I assume you mean PV. Hikki did a very cute PV for her last single before hiatus, which included singing puppets that seems very much mimicked in this Kikka PV.
