Kikkawa and Vanilla Beans appeared together at the "HMV presents Misono Idol Festival Vol.2". The title of this Barks article quotes, "If Morning Musume are the yakisoba, we're the mayo and cabbage."
The article seems to mention that Tsujimoto from Vanilla pointed out that she did in fact audition for MM 5 times. ^^;;

And I basically agree with boinsie about the c/w. I mean, it's not bad, but if that's all you got, why bother?

For me, it's two things. First, the tracking of the snapshots isn't quite like purikura and it's not quite like frames of a film. It's somewhere in between, which is difficult to reconcile. And second, dancing with mirror images -- bleh.

I've heard complaints that she seems a little sex-bot-ish. Like, the photos of her go between closed and open mouth, her eyes are kind-of vacant, she's wearing a plain white frock, there are several of "her", she's hanging out in a futuristic bathroom. Personally I don't have any huge problems with the PV. It kind-of bothers me that they just multiplied her for the shots with her in the background, since it seems like a cheap way out, and I wish for the photo reel that they'd have different shots than just those two or three. But overall I love the song and her performance of it on Coming Soon, so the PV doesn't much matter to me.
