Fuji) in Yamanashi Prefecture. The idol festival is 3 days (7/15~7/17).

Hitachi Seaside Park used to be the location for ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL until it was moved out and replaced by LuckyFes.

This will be Tsubaki Factory's first time performing with other major artists at a massive outdoor music festival that is not named Tokyo Idol Festival. It's about time. We will finally see Tsubaki Factory on a big stage.

Ibaraki Broadcasting Corporation (headquartered in Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture) will hold the Summer Festival "LuckyFes2023" on July 15th~17th, 2023. The venue is the Hitachi Seaside Park (Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki Prefecture).

LuckyFes was held for the first time on July 23rd~24th,2022, under the slogan "Don't extinguish the lights of Ibaraki's festival culture! The festival featured a total of 67 artists on three stages over two days. The festival successfully concluded on a scale unprecedented for a first-time event, with an attractive crossover of rock, pop, hip-hop, and other music, and approximately 20,000 "Friends" (visitors) from all over Japan from Hokkaido to Okinawa, centering on Ibaraki Prefecture and the Kanto area.

In the Summer of 2023, the second year of the festival, the event will be held over three consecutive days from July 15~17th (National holiday) under the slogan "Connecting the Lights of Ibaraki's Festival Culture"

LuckyFes2023 will continue to follow last year's five concepts as a "festival of music, food, and art," but with even more power.

Theme Park: Enjoy local Ibaraki food and domestic and international art
Family: Enjoyable with children and families

We have also decided to officially change the name of the event to "LuckyFes. The logo will also be changed to a simpler version. Please look forward to the return of LuckyFes with even more power.

Last January 5th, 2022, two hours after the shocking announcement that ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL would be relocating to Chiba, we announced that we would be holding our own festival under the slogan "Do not extinguish the light of Ibaraki's festival culture." The cultural and psychological impact on the people of Ibaraki of no longer being the host of one of Japan's largest festivals was enormous, and the damage to the local economy was also enormous. We do not want to discourage the people of Ibaraki, and we want them to have hope. It was with this in mind that we decided to launch LuckyFes, and despite its initial launch last year, we were able to successfully close the festival with the participation of 20,000 Friends (spectators) on three stages over a two-day period.
