BABYMETAL is coming to the US and Canada again this fall. I didn’t even realize they have a new album. Might try to actually go see them live in Atlanta (even though I hate the area where the venue is at).

^ Yeah, the album was released a few weeks ago. I guess it's more "mature" in that it lacks the kawaii factor of their earlier releases, but as a result I'm not really feeling it.

I enjoyed their San Francisco shows in 2016 and 2019, but it appears that the closest they're coming to the Bay Area this year is Sacramento. And that's at Aftershock, so a hard pass from me. I don't care enough about them (or any band, for that matter) to endure a metal festival.
