Former Kenshuusei Okamura "Okamuu" Rise (Chuo University graduate, Tokyo University Hello Pro Club graduate, Churryz Unidol graduate, H!P wota for more than 15 years) announced that she is joining the already established vocal band called "fedress", an Indie Rock x Idol Pop" band. She will be in charge of being their main new vocalist and choreographer. They will be doing live shows.

I joined a band to balance work and life.
It's a completely different style and genre of singing from what I've been doing.
I would be very happy if you could support me!

By the way, I'm in charge of choreography.
I look forward to working with you!

Just in case. :innocent:

Janice 1/3 is better than Mick Jagger! Cuter too!
We probably could not handle the other 2/3s. :hehe:

It is announced today that Piano player and youtuber Harami-chan (Sato Masaki fan) is invited to play at this year's Kohaku Uta Gassen. She will not be a member of the red team, but as a guest performer. They are considering having her perform with big-name musicians and play impromptu song requests by viewers. She expected to appear many times.

Harami-chan will have her first Budokan concert on January 4th.

Will someone request a song for her play, like for Sato Masaki maybe?

OK. This is the sort of random-walk way that I wind up following/getting to know people online (and meeting people in the face-to-face world as well):
Spoiler: show
A few years ago, a former member of Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku who had left the idol world to have a semi-normal life about ten years earlier turned up on Twitter and Insta. It turned out that she kept in touch with a couple of other former Ebichu members who had stayed with Stardust as non-idol talents. One of them had done some work with an underground/emo/indie photographer/video director named Hana, who had a bunch of friends on Insta who did equally obscure/artsy/won't-make-any-money things, so I wound up following several of them without really knowing who they were, because even now, even at my age, my basic pretentious-obscure hipster instincts are 100% on, and anyway, they're a cool bunch of hip young Japanese artists.
One of the more cool/interesting people in Hana's crowd was a sort of waif-punk girl named utaha.89 who did a lot of fashion shots, played acoustic guitar, and sang a bit, although it was hard to tell how serious she was about music. So I was a little confused when her face started showing up in my YT suggestions an hour or two ago. I was even more confused when I realized that it was a link to the latest Wednesday Campanella MV. It turns out that she's their new singer. And songwriter. Duh. XD

Come to think of it, both MVs are more than a little reminiscent of Tommy Heavenly6... :fear:

^ I'm having a tough time wrapping my head around the notion of a Wednesday Campanella without KOM_I.

To me it seems like Tommy heavenly6 without Kawase Tomoko.

I was wondering when they'd put out new stuff with Utaha. I thought their stuff was getting a little weird with KOM_I tbh. KOM_I asked fans to continue supporting WedCamp.
