Does it also say near the end that highly rated stories could become songs, or are all of my translators getting something wrong? " 高評価作品は、楽曲になる可能性も! "

Oda Sakura ver.

Takagi Sayuki ver.

Oda Sakura's version has reached 1 million views. Takagi's has some catching up to do at 500k.

We finally have the duet version we’ve all been waiting for!

Just get it over with and make SK TWO an official unit.

Forreal.

It does kind of seem like UF* is setting up a potentially viable grad-path for the two of them.

I'm assuming if it does become official the name would have to change though or they'd have to cleverly retcon SK2 to mean something to avoid a lawsuit (SK-II is the name of a very high end/popular skincare brand in and around Japan).

It does mean something: Sakura and Sayuki → SK and SK → SK TWO.

And I don't think there would be any grounds for a trademark dispute because no one could reasonably confuse a skincare brand with a musical group. Not unless the musical group became spokespersons for a skincare brand.

At least that's how it works under U.S. law…

Hopefully it could really help inspire new song writers

Yes, however don't you find what it stands for a bit of a random reach? It wouldn't make sense to anyone outside of the fandom and even then cherry picking out the S and K is still a bit reach-y. SK TWO was certainly (to the extent that it would be surprising if it wasn't) a play on words/wink/nod for the SK-II line of skincare.

SK-II is an aspirational/luxury skincare line and very well known - I would also venture to say that the adult styling of SK TWO is playing into that as well.

On another note, not sure how long this will stay up but:

Maybe you're right. I really don't know. I still wouldn't worry about it, though.
