Twitter seems to be exploding with news that Sayashi Riho is supposedly on stage at a BABYMETAL concert.

Nothing official, just lots of people saying she's on stage. It could all be in error or a hoax.

It’s not implausible. Sayashi and Nakamoto were classmates and maybe even friends at ASH.

Fascinating, going on the BABYMETAL Reddit & Discord, no one has a clue.
But this is apparently par for the course with this group. Lots of mystery. There's another concert tomorrow it seems. We'll see.

Apparently this is connected to the news that BABYMETAL just performed a new song, "PA PA YA!!", at Yokohama Arena to mark the start of their 2019 Summer tour. There were clearly three members on stage, as opposed to two members plus backup dancers, which had been the norm since YUIMETAL quit or went on medical leave or whatever. Now the debate is about whether the third member was YUIMETAL returned or maybe new member RIHOMETAL (?).

Can't tell from this, which is the only video I've found of the performance in question…

Man, I would freak if Riho joined Babymetal. I love them. I actually have tickets to see them here in LA in October.

As awesome as that would be I doubt it would happen. A guest appearance would still be cool though

Edit: just saw the video and I’m even more convinced. If it’s not her I’d be surprised... like wow random girl you look a ton like Riho. Also that wasn’t just the single looks like she did a few songs, which leads me to “is this a one time concert thing? A tour thing? Or something longer term?” I’m super confused but also excited. Fingers crossed.
