I don't have any solid guesses for which girls I think were chosen, only my personal hopes. Though, probably just because she won the Shindan Test, it does feel like Riai is a guaranteed debut regardless of which group.

I almost wonder if NO KSS are joining MM, and that’s why they put two girls in J=J and announced it before this reveal... that way no one is upset when none of the KSS debut

I honestly want a generation that’s just full of off the street girls for a generation of Morning Musume. It creates more of a buzz for the group than just more kenshuusei joining. But because you also have those kenshuusei you can’t just ignore them anymore. I’d like a mix of both.
