This is the kind of content that works well under the new format.

The combinations of boxes and shoes in that group shot make my brain hurt. I have a sudden urge to to create a matrix for them — I can think of at least three, maybe four potential axes.

Ota is a natural, and I expect her to quickly become a fan favorite. Ise will more gradually win people over with her mad skillz.

Neither of them seems like a great fit for ANGERME, however. That group has a super genki image, maybe even a little crazy. Expanding such a group to 10+ members is risky enough; doing it with standard-issue wannabes is… well, we'll see.

I don’t think it’s necessary to be Genki before joining ANGERME. I think that joining ANGERME makes girls become more Genki naturally. I think had Momona and Moe and maybe also Rina had been put in a different group they would have been more quiet and serious. But being in the environment they are you can’t help but join in on the fun. I think the new girls will become energetic in due time. They look like they have a silliness just waiting to come out. Just give them some time to settle in and get comfortable.
