I was more excited with the name when I assumed it was FIST FACTORY (拳)

But no, the name has to have JOSHIRYOKU OF COURSE.

But srsly, I actually like the name. When you tell it to someone they won't be "O.O" like if you tell them "Anjurumu" or "S/mileage" or "Juice=Juice".

It's not a major debut single. It's an indies DVD single and it'll be a tie-in for the musical, so who even knows if they'll count it as a part of their discography in the long run.

The Kobushi members all seem to like the name (although Nomura was a bit shocked ). Hamachan said she's really happy about the name because she loves Berryz so much.

Maasa said that she didn't know what to think at first, but after watching the announcement video realised how happy the girls were she felt grateful and was pleased about the name.

Oh Kobushi is "friendly" ?... Well. "Friendly Factory".... Kobushi Factory.... Berryz Kôbô.... well...

It's a type of flower . I think they're going for "friendship" more than anything.
