Aika's was different. IIRC, it was a re-injury or something, and it turned out to be part of a bigger problem. I think she had/has brittle bones, and if she'd kept dancing, she would've continued to injure her leg.

Also, Karin makes sense. She's probably one of the only other girls who can pull off formation dances. Berryz are too busy so Shimizu's out of the question, and anyone in ℃-ute would look out of place. Plus, Ayumi replaced her in the Ijiwaru MV, so it's like she's returning the favour.

^ You need to go back and read the other page. It was only two PVs she danced in and they were done while Zukki was still not 100%. And let's be real she'll most likely be in the background the whole time and until the dance shot comes out you probably wouldn't even know she was there. It's not like this is Riho she's replacing.

She tore a ligament in her leg and was out for ages and required 8 weeks or so of recovery. She's only just starting to come right from the sounds of it.

A torn ligament can be serious business for a dancer, an athlete, or anyone else whose career requires a lot of leg and body movement. They're doing the right thing by being so cautious!

If I tore a ligament, I'd probably be bed-ridden too. (which would require basically, not moving. which, ugh. must suck!)
