I'm soooo excited for this lineup holy shit.
I'm probably gonna end up really liking Maho, lol.

Saw this topic on the other forum, so why not bring it here?

Not only is it because the lack of training these girls have with the new line-up, but 4/6 senior members don't even try enough in the dance anyways. If you segregate Kanyon, Take-chan, Murotan and Rikako from the others, those four would make a decent dance unit.
Hopefully, with the addition of Murotan and Sasaki, the senior members would at least work harded on their dance skills.

Dawa doesn't have the level of control over her body that the other four have, but she has improved a great deal and dances well most of the time (I've noticed her dancing in dance shots isn't so good sometimes, but she's usually good live). Kanon can dance (and is probably more naturally talented in this area than Dawa), but she only gives about 50% in live performances. Dawa actually puts a lot of effort into her dancing. She does try.

I was only calling the other 4 out in terms of synchronization in that performance (even tho Dawa is known as one of the better dancers, she seemed a bit off compared to those 4). The four I named where more leveled, regardless on how much energy and effort that put on stage. The performance overall was a mess, though, like previously said, lack of training as a 9 member group prior to the event. At least they will have weeks of training together by the time winter HaroCon begins. Then they will look more like a group.
By seniors, I do mean all of the 1st and 2nd generation members. They all have flaws in terms of dancing. They still have the image of kids doing whatever they want, which somehow has to end when they change their name.

Anyways, I didn't criticized Maho because I didn't had high expections on her. She's so new, that she hasn't had much training in H!P at all. Not only was she weak in the performance, but she seemed super unconfident. I think there was a scene where it looked like she was looking at the ground, watching her steps.

Ah, okay. For some reason, it sounded to me like you were saying that the other four don't dance well/aren't trying to dance well in general just based on this performance. (Of course, that might be true for the other three, but it's not true about Dawa. I sound like I'm a Dawa fan, lol.) Anyway, I kinda liked the performance myself. It's their first time performing together and it's happy song with a casual atmosphere, not a serious dance song, so I don't expect them to be dancing perfectly. But if I did have a major complaint about that gif, it wouldn't be that they aren't in sync or performing as a group (i.e. some people are moving too fast and are ahead and others are behind or they're dancing in a different style or something). Not that that isn't an issue, but the real problem to me is that the weaker dancers (and Dawa for whatever reason) are just flat out not doing the move the way it should be done. (Takechan, Rikako, and Murotan are doing it right. Kanon's okay.) That's... obviously worse, though, lol.

Dawa almost always dances quite well.

Oh but i meant like, she dances OK but not like "wow" but murotan danced superbly. way better than dawa. xD

S/mileage's new group name is ANGERME (アンジェルム). Seems to be an-jeru-mu. Angelmu? Maybe?
EDIT: Apparently it's angel + tears in French?

For some reason I really like the idea of them having "angel" of in their name somewhere
Though I wonder if the name change means an image change as well (from genki/playful to something else)
EDIT: ANGELARM would have looked nicer though from a English Speaker's point of view

or even ANGELRM, probably from a French point of view as well if it is french since that is ange + larmes, according to google translate
