...Just bc Tsunku didn't accept certain people and they got into AKB doesn't mean that "they should have been in H!P".

Also AKB48 and all of the sister groups has like a billion girls in it. Tsunku takes no more than 4 per audition and Morning Musume usually has 9-10 girls in it total. So of course Tsunku has to be more selective! With the exception of 8th gen (I love Aika but he could have taken another girl with her) I love all of his choices. 9-10-11ki are all amazingly talented girls with diverse personalities. I don't even know who is in AKB and I'm sure the general public outside the fandoms probably only know a handful of names.
Also Tsunku is aware of the idol competition and the girls being scooped up by other groups. That's why he keeps calling the girls back to be in Kenshuusei. He probably realized it around the 9ki audition and that's why so many girls "completed their training" right before the audition. In every audition since then a group of girls who failed get drafted into KSS and thus they don't go off and try to join AKB. It's smart.
