I just learned that Netflix is rebooting "The Magic School Bus" (under "The Magic School Bus 360°") for a full season of 26 episodes. Thank you, Netflix. Now get Lily Tomlin to return as The Friz and we're set.

Finished reading A Feast for Crows.

Spoiler: show
Yeah, I take it back, Cersei's completely selfish and evil, although her chapters were among the most interesting/entertaining to read in the book. Tommen seems completely different from what we've seen of him so far in the series.

Brienne's chapters were also the best in book 4, although the first few were among the most boring.

I'd say my favorite POV characters from books 1-4 are Jaime, Tyrion, and Cersei.

^ Regarding Tommen, remember that all of characters have been aged up about three years for the show, and then some of the characters are being played by even older actors. That makes a huge difference in Tommen's case: you have a 16-year-old playing 12-13 aged up from 9-10.

(I think they goofed a bit with Sansa, who is the one character who has explicitly stated her age on the show, when Tyrion asked her on their wedding night.)

Saltpans was smaller than I imagined, though.

No more until next year. :crying:

Spoiler: show
Arya was just looking at the Hound with a blank face for a while there. It's like they didn't know how she should react because they overplayed their friendship in the show. Book Arya would still be upset over Mycah.

Seeing Arya and Brienne together was actually nice though.

In memory of Casey Kasem and his time as Shaggy, some fun "Animation Anecdotes".

Spoiler: show
Vegetarian Shaggy. Casey Kasem did the voice of Shaggy Rogers in Scooby-Doo series from 1968-1990. In the 1970s, Kasem became a vegetarian and by the 1980s refused to do any commericals for clients that sold meat, fish, poultry or dairy products. As Kasem remembered, “At Hanna-Barbera, I asked the director at the time if it would be possible to quietly make Shaggy and Scooby vegetarians in the series. The director of the shows at the time, Gordon Hunt, Helen Hunt’s father, said, ‘Sure, Casey, we can do that’. So when Scooby and Shaggy had a pizza, instead of pepperoni, they would put vegetables on it. Instead of a hamburger, they would have an elaborate peanut butter and jelly sandwich.”

The One Time Kasem Said “No” To Shaggy. The only time Kasem didn’t provide Shaggy’s voice during this time period was for a couple of Burger King teleivision commercials to promote some toys for the children meals. “I said I couldn’t do it. It was against my conscience to promote something that I myself wouldn’t eat. So I told Hanna-Barbera I couldn’t do it. They were willing to understand, after playing Shaggy for those 300 shows and a couple of moives, that I turned them down on one commercial.”

I'm not but I love MMD's videos. It's just great to see some of your favourite characters (principally male) shaking their asses to that known rhythm :mikihead:
Like.... SnK's ones... where you see Rivaille and even Erwin giving their everything to the Chan-chan-chan!
