No, the spoiler widget just changes whether the block is displayed. The block and the images it contains are all still there, and the browser still loads all of the images.

Also, in general, reposting graphics (as in gif sets and picspam collages, things people edit) from Tumblr is frowned on, as the original creator doesn't get to know that people are enjoying their work, even if you credit them.
