Maybe... I don't know what it is tbh but maybe that's what it's called.

I mean... What other songs have sounded that way to you? Obvs Furusato inside of Cabbage Hakusho, but that's because it's old and a lot of old songs are slow and choral like that.
Being honest, I don't think I've listened to any of the non-DIY Satoyama songs more than once... I remember the other two add being boring, sure, but not hymn-like in the same way.

Sounds kind of like an old-fashioned school assembly song. Like AKB's Sakura no Shiori. Or, to use my favorite example from years ago, the theme song to "The Worst Witch" TV series.
