she's channeling an if-she-were-in-kpop Miyabi for me (meaning darker hair & more make-up, but otherwise that's the image). especially when comparing her to the is-actually-14 Riho right next to her lol.

The hair looks a bit older, I could see that. But I feel like her face gives her away, even with the makeup on.

Riho on the other hand, always looks like a 12 year old to me anyway.

Really don't see the 17-ness either. I see they're trying and she doesn't look 10 anymore but no way she looks older than 15 to me. ^^;;

Did people theorize that Ayaya was older than she claimed?

^ Yeah from about 15-21 every once in a while you'd hear people saying, either jokingly or seriously that she was around 4 years older than she actually was. Like "SURE she's 15...looking like that I'm pretty sure she's at least 18-19..." etc. My recollection is that it was a 2ch thing, not an English fan made-up thing, although I could be wrong. (was a "jpm" thing according to: http://stage48.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=119390 )

Anyway, I don't think her getting older is what quashed the rumors, it was probably just her abrupt departure from the world of pop.
