The amount of alternate shots (Dance Shot I, Dance Shot II, Close up,...) they have on these is staggering.
I just buy them to rip and encode and have them available without the burned in subtitles from Youtube.

All the MV's are the full versions as well, with proper intros and outros.
Those aren't included on the Promotion Edits on Youtube.

I'll probably end up buying that eventually, but since I already have all the regular MVs up through "Yume Mita 15" on Blu-ray as part of Rinnetenshou limited B, it's not a high priority for me at the moment. Especially since I tend not to watch the alternate versions very often.

Buying the Morning Musume。 collection on CDJapan with FedEx Priority shipping, I had it in my hands on the 27th (the release date). I could even have had it on the 26th, if I hadn't forgotten to make the necessary delivery arrangements.

More auctiony goodness!

Morning Musume。 Bromide Part 1, No. 01 (1998)
Koinu Dan no Monogatari Passnet SF Metrocard (2002, used)
mini-moni。THE Movie – Okashi na Daibōken Passnet SF Metrocard (2002, used)
Morning Musume。’14 Oricon Tosho card (2014, mint)

That bromide card is only the tip of the iceberg. I bought several auction lots (of various sizes) of Morning Musume。 bromides, the largest of which also included a considerable number of other L size photos and cards, as well as smaller trading cards.

Combined totals for these lots:
Normal bromides: 135
"Burned" bromides: 43
Unofficial L size photos and cards: 68
Trading cards and similarly sized cards: 124

Here's part of the largest lot:

For those wondering what the heck a "bromide" is, I'm talking specifically about the cards sold as Morning Musume。 Bromide, of which there were at least nine sets (or "parts"). The "normal" cards were printed on heavy card stock, with a number on the back (the numbers differ in color, depending on the "part"). The "burned" (焼き付け) cards were lower-quality prints on photo paper, not numbered. Both are L size, or twice the size of a regular trading card. The first four parts each consisted of 72 normal and 10 burned. They were mostly sold in random packs of ten: nine normal, one burned.

These recent purchases allowed me to complete Part 3, complete a second set of Part 5, and get all 72 normal cards (plus two of the 13 burned cards) of Part 6. I also got closer to completing Part 4, but I still need five normal cards and one burned card to reach that goal.

Four mint telephone cards:
Morning Musume。 Official Fan Club Hello! (1998 or 1999)
Takahashi Ai UP to boy No. 169 (2005)
Yaguchi Mari (two cards, 1999)

But here's what's really cool about the Yaguchi phone cards:

Spoiler: show
They came in autographed plastic sleeves.

And on the other side of one of the sleeves is a lengthy handwritten message, also signed, and dated the day before "LOVE Machine" was released.
