A late response to all the pitch stuff, but if you're using a Japanese karaoke machine you can pitch it down. When I go with my best friend here in Japan she's always doing that since she's an alto and is more comfortable in lower ranges. I've had to pitch up some songs too. Some Berryz and newer MM songs are too low for me
