she looks older in that one too. doing a maasa certainly doesn't help for captain. and celedam that title you got under your name sounds all wrong.

IMO it's not so much the haircut as it is the entire ensemble that's kind of frumpy and conservative looking. Short hair can look very youthful, look at Kudou and Takechan. And Haruna has long hair, yet, just using my imagination, I think if it got cut off she might not look as pretty, but not any older. Captain's hair style before was kinda sexy and showgirl-looking. Her style now, plus the way she's dressed, looks like a young mom's attire.
