Some averaged stats (by Lurkette at H!O) from the rankings the girls gave themselves. In case anyone else here finds it interesting.

Average star rating for each category (all Kenshuusei):
Smile: 3.7
Energy: 3.7
Dance: 2.9
Singing: 2
Talk: 2.2

- Twelve gave themselves a ranking over 4 for any given category
- Six gave themselves a 5
- Two gave themselves a 5 in more than one category

- Seven gave themselves a 1 or under for any given category
- Three of them gave less than 1
- One of them gave 1 or less in multiple categories

- Kaga Kaede had the lowest amount of confidence
- Takagi Sayuki had the highest confidence

So I just got done listening to all the solos...

WOW THESE GIRLS ARE REALLY FUCKING GOOD. Like, seriously. ALL OF THEM. Everyone impressed me. I actually think my fave was Yumeno, although Murotan, Maria and Fuyuka did excellent as well. Some of them, such as Hamachan, sounded a bit weak, but that might just be because of the recording quality.

But really they all have great voices and wow I'm really looking forward to the next Kenshuusei unit now. These girls are excellent and I LOVE THEM ALL.

Interesting that Hello!Pro Kenshuusei have the same acronym as Hello!Project Kids

Yeah, that's only in the English alphabet.

The acronyms in Japanese are different. First of all, they start with "ke" and "ki". H!P Kenshuusei are けんしゅう (kenshuu), whereas H!P Kids are キッズ (kizzu). If you're writing them in Japanese, they would not be the same under any circumstances.

ハロプロけんしゅうせい vs ハロプロキッズ.

Plus one's in hiragana and the other's in katakana but that's another story.

Also nobody uses H!P Kids anymore so.

Yeah, but my point was that it only works if you romanise them .
