Well it's not even a romanization issue. Kenkyuusei and kenshuusei are two completely different words, even phonetically, but I see it spelled both ways.

Lol, just realized I wrote kenkyuusei & kks in my post even while I was looking at the word kenshuusei in another browser tab with full intention of spelling it out correctly. It doesn't really help that kks and kss sound so alike, or that the 修 kanji isn't all that familiar to me. Pretty sure I've only had occasion to use that shuu on'yomi in shuurisuru, to repair.

What... gap? There is a 2 age difference between Haruna (18) and Mizuki (16) but I would hardly call that a "gap"?
Unless you're talking about the gap between Sayumi and Haruna but that can't be filled anyway lol. Don't really feel that it has to either.

Surprisingly I don't feel anything in particular about the age this time. I mean, Sakura just turned 14, but even last year when she was 13 she seemed at least a year older than Masaki and Haruka (she is a school year over them, because her birthday is earlier though).
