Kitagawa Rio got in trouble for some 2 year old posts and photos in a private Instagram account being leaked, complaining about work and saying hurtful words about others members. (Very similar to what Ogata Risa did)

I am sure that everything that is out there now is written by me.
About 2 years ago, my friends and I sent each other texts about daily life and events that happened at work through SNS.

What I have done is unforgivable. I deeply regret what I did.

Oda Sakura got in trouble for photos of her leaked on the internet with her and an older man. The older man was in the background taking a photo of her with a professional camera in front of a mirror.

I am Oda Sakura and I am truly sorry for this incident.

Last night, a photo of two shots of me and a man was posted on the Internet.

First of all, I am very sorry for the trouble this has caused.

The person in that picture is me.

As for the background, this is one of several photos I had taken when I visited a friend of mine who knows how to take photos of me with my family and friends.

There were many solo shots taken, but the only ones that were leaked happened to show the person who took the picture and me.

I truly regret having photos that caused a big fuss.

And I am deeply sorry that I have caused so much ill will to anyone.

I always live my life thinking that I want my fans to enjoy watching Morning Musume from the bottom of my heart.
I sincerely hope to be of help to you all.
I love Morning Musume and all Morning Musume fans.

This incident made me realize once again how weak my position in this job and my own resolve were.

I would like to become a person who can help Morning Musume even more in the future.

I'm sorry to be so selfish when I've just made you uneasy, but

I don't share the photos because that would support the leakers. JPLOP shall not get a "cease and desist" letter by Upfront for social media slander or spreading the photos (Japanese law)

Oda's leak is a non-issue. In my opinion, she could even have a boyfriend and it really shouldn't matter.

Rio's posts are different. They're whiney and catty. Complaining about her schedule, her senpai, one post even has a photo of the back of Maria's head to make fun of her hairstyle.
Snarky friend texts are all fine and good, but if the content gets back to your boss & coworkers, good luck (especially when those coworkers are in the public eye).

As a barometer for where this might be headed, Maria has unfollowed Rio on IG.

It is weird that Kitagawa Rio said that about Maria two years ago. Because two years ago, they had a gravure photoshoot together for Young Jump.

Oda: All I have to say about this one is she's an adult, it should really be a non-issue, etc etc. (I know why it's an issue, so pls don't try to explain it to me!)

Kitario: Nothing online is ever really private, so posting rude remarks about your job/coworkers on a so-called "private" account is a really dumb choice to make. Especially when one of them is in the same group.
That being said, I do think this serves as a good reminder that before anything else, these girls are coworkers. (I'm not trying to defend her, btw. Whatever ~punishment~ she gets, she definitely deserves imo.)

Sakura's leak only speaks to her hypocrisy. After criticizing Rio for her possible boyfriend, a photo appears in a dubious position, and some wota point out that she’s without panties and that there’s lub in the background. I'm enjoying seeing this mask fall; I hope this triggers her early graduation.

Oh lawd...I don't know how Kitario salvages her reputation in the group after pretty much savaging everyone? Maybe individualized, strongly worded apologies would've been helpful but it feels too late for that already. I I expect she will need to do heavy duty damage control to ever be respected as leader when her time comes around. Ironically, as things stand now, after wishing Ikuta to hurry up and graduate it seems to me like Rio might end up beating her out the door.

Also, are these posts really from 2 years ago? She's complaining about 26 year old Ikuta (I think), which wasn't that long ago. Either way, it's kind of hard to play these posts off as mere youthful indiscretion when she was at least 19 and had already been in the group at least 3 years.

And speaking of IG, looks like they have deleted/locked all the comments on her posts except they missed the most recent one, and unsurprisingly she is getting eviscerated by the netizens.

Ya know, I recently made an out-of-right-field prediction about a surprise 3-nin 18th gen of KSS in July and even wondered whether Homare might early grad due to all the medical issues she's had.

With Oda likely half-way out the door anyway, and KitaRio in scalding hot water, I'm beginning to wonder if I manifested something and simply predicted the wrong 15ki to dip.

In Rio's defense haven't we all been saying this exact thing for years? Fukuchan left in 2023, it's 2025 now. She should have been gone in 2021 - 2022.
