Today is the 9th annual TV Tokyo Music Festival 2021. Suzuki Airi will be performing around 6pm
For the first time, Morning Musume is not performing. They were invited for 8 straight years. The disrespect.

^ I'm just floored by seeing middle-aged Ryoko Hirosue in that clip.

Great job as usual by Airi. I suspect that UF was only offered one slot and they decided to go with their trending star as opposed to the more traditional but currently stagnant Morning Musume.

Just another example of Airi naturally knowing how to "perform" without choreography. (I will give some credit to the better than expected camera work though.)
That being said, is/has Airi been trending? I've become used to Airi being one of UF* consistently active employees so I have hard time telling when she is/isn't on the up and up.
Did Black Cinderella do well re: viewership?

You yourself just posted that she got a million views in 2 weeks for a recent performance. I think that speaks to some level of popularity, that's not just UF fans rewatching over and over again. And on Instagram anyway, near as I can tell she's the 3rd most popular Up Front act behind Tsuji and Satoda. Aichan nominally has more followers but Airi's posts routinely get 20k plus likes whereas Ai gets half those numbers. Morning Musume nor any of the individual members are in the running.

I kinda figured it was a fluke/Gintama fans
Lol.
But I do believe the internal Airi numbers must be pretty good since she was supposed to do Yokohama in the before times.
I just kind of figured her modeling was keeping her relevant- and that her singing has taken a bit of backseat since it's harder to tour right now.
