So… Morlocks?

Turns out… yep, Morlocks.

This is what I'm watching right now, but I feel like I'm catching up just for the sake of catching up. It's not great, and I'm not enjoying it as much as I enjoyed Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., which was notoriously cheap and often mediocre but still had a certain charm. In contrast, The Gifted is… well, Fred Savage said it best…

I feel like I'm watching out of morbid curiosity, just to see how it mutates (pun intended) the characters and storylines that I grew up with — for example, replacing Havok with Marcos/Eclipse as Lorna/Polaris's baby-daddy in order to avoid conflicts with the most recent X-Men movies.

EDIT: Also, taking a minor character from the comics (Erg) and turning him into a mashup of two major characters (Bishop and Callisto).

Mash, mash, mash… that's all Fox does.

I've been watching the show consistently and I more or less feel the same way. It doesn't quite feel like a chore each week yet, but I can't say I missed it while it was on break over the holidays. It definitely needs some reworking.

Has anybody here ever played the open-source rhythm game OSU! ? I literally just heard of it a half hour ago, came across it totally by accident looking in vain for an instrumental version of a song I like (by coincidence named suki na uta) . Here's an example of what OSU! looks like in action:

The game seems to mostly have anime related "beatmaps" on its official site but there's a some jpop/doujin related stuff in there as well. Just wondering if anyone here has played it and found that it was fun (or not)?

The previews for the new Super Sentai are out and BOSS♀ is not the pink ranger. On the other hand, the girl they chose to be the pink ranger looks an awful lot like Yokoyama Reina ...
