...I'm sure I'm not remotely close to the first few who wrote this, but I wish UF just make these 4 a unit already and get it over with.
They are obviously doing this as they have to make them do something as H!P members in the bi-annual joint concerts, but none of them are good enough as a singer to perform as a soloist consistently (day and week in/out) - all serviceable singers in a group setting btw. That didn't stop Mano, but considering that was the last one, they probably don't want to go that route again. Early UF didn't have any issue with revolving-door style temp units/shuffles, so why the heck not.
I know Hashimoto said a bunch of stuff including Ichioka being a leader and blah blah, but surely being a sub-leader is just fine?
Or perhaps Inaba doesn't want to be a leader, then all is good for that declaration.
And they can have a limited activities like current Country Girls, which would suit the three girls beside Ichioka. If they need an ace type, even for a temp unit, they could always add the best Kenshuusei available, like Yamazaki. I do like Manaka and Kiyono, but something tells me they are not exactly ace-type in idol unit as now. In Momohime's case, I thought she would be, but not so much these days. She still has time though.
