For 12, Kirara is REALLY tiny. She's smaller than Momohime, and Momohime is younger.

But seeing this makes me think of Karin.

Momona mentioned that she is a huge Morning Musume fan, so I have a feeling she tried out for the failed 13 gen audition and stood out but management didn't feel she was right for Morning Musume and decided it would be better to put her in Angerme since Meimei graduated and they needed someone to fill the gap. Perhaps it's linked with the theory that the success of Utakata prompted management to look for more of a energetic girl than a cool sayashi type like they were originally looking for.
