OMG KAEDI FTW!!! This makes me a bit more at ease that this is a major confidence boost for her, especially how much of a landslide she won, so that she won't suddenly leave the program, and someday debut in H!P. Can't wait to see footage!!!

But wow, on another note, Funaki bested Ruru in singing??? Not that I doubt her singing, but considering how polished Ruru is, its amazing after a year that she was able to best her, even if it just a little.

Out of the 6 girls from last year, Yokogawa Yumei was the only one who didnt get a mention/award? I will say she's pretty, though.

So happy for her. She was worried when her name wasn't called for any of the judges awards.

Guess who also did a cover of 17sai?

I like the song, not sure what you are all complaining about. And congrats to Kaede. :D

I didn't know Juice=Juice were there.

Nakano Spring Test fan recording, solos only (ie no Kobushi, Tsubaki, J=J or CG). Denki forgot to mention Shin Hashimoto was one of the judges as well.

I really don't get why they're performing her song? that's so weird/random. :?:

LOL I always do that too! xD

...lol @ "Shimizu award" :3

~EDIT~
How on earth did Funaki win the singing award over Ruru?! Ruru was 10xxxxxxxx better than her! :O
...Must be a confidence-boost for Funaki, I bet that's why.

But holy hell Ruru. Dat voice. *^*
Why is she not like, hittin' doze venues with her own group? >.<

Basically, every year, around this time (Approx. May 5th since that's Kids Day in Japan), the Kenshuusei has a "Recital Test", basically, the girls each get to perform a song of their choice, and there are judges and awards given to girls who sang well, danced well, have good stage personality, special judge award (like Shimizu hehe), and ofcourse the best performer award in general.

Kaedi looks like Haachin in that photo XD

listening to it now.

Thoughts:
- HOLY SHIT Inoue Hikaru improved so much. I'm absolutely shocked. @_@ She had a few bad moments but still a massive improvement.
- Kaga Kaede's Love Take it All vocally wasn't that impressive. I guess Kaede's general performance was better, as in singing and dancing? That, or kenshuusei fans probably wanted to give her a moral boost and vote for her (which isn't a bad thing).
- Kurumi was very stable. I still can't believe how different she looks compared to now and her time in Tochiotome25.
- Ichioka Reina has improved.
- Musubu was great! Singing on point.
- A lot of them have potential to grow. Yumei was my least favourite.

I have to agree, Hikaru sounded really, really good.

I had a weird moment where I clicked on this page and all I saw was CONGRATS Kaede and the photo above, and since I'd temporarily forgot that the recital test was happening and I thought she'd gone solo.

....XD

Anyway, congrats to all the girls! I really like this recital test, I'm so glad they started it. I think it really pushes the girls towards a goal they can see concretely, so they can improve a lot and helps recognize the girls who are doing really well right now.
