Game of Thrones
A look back…
…and a look ahead…

Ugh, I can't believe last night's episode of
Revenge. Made me so upset.
How could they kill Aiden like that? I found out the actor is leaving the show, but still... at least give him a better death or make him leave town indefinitely or something. The worst part is that Victoria did this because she thought Emily is responsible for Pascal's death, but she's not. The sad part is that in the context of the story, Aiden is an insignificant character whose death probably only affects Nolan, Jack, Emily, and his mom (if she ever finds out), since it seems like he, like Emily, really has no one else out there. The show is mainly about people who are filthy rich who would get on the news for anything (so Conrad's death would be big news), but Aiden's death is different. Also, if it's about Emily/Jack vs. Emily/Aiden.... it should obviously be Emily and Aiden. Ugh.
Other things, I'm not so upset about, even if David Clarke being alive is a big deal.

So Doraemon is finally coming to America.
Then I read about the changes
Who the hell eats a bowl of rice with a fork?
It's like 4kids all over again.

I read about that the other day. Nobody that I know is happy about them changing so many ridiculous things - the only change that seems justifiable is swapping signs to English, but even they could be left alone without causing any issues (especially if they'd let the show take place in Japan - but then people might have to deal with kids asking questions and wanting to learn things).
(What I understand the least is the first aid kit becoming a pizza. They're changing the junk food to fruit. When was pizza taken off the junk food list?)

When
Congress deemed it a vegetable.

Oh, well, hey. Guess I should've been eating the pizza instead of the chicken when I was in school.
(Though really, there is no way any pizza I ever had during my school days had two table spoons of sauce on it.)

Watched Godzilla today. That was pretty satisfying but the main soldier dude has even less personality than the pacific rim guys how is that even possible xD
Would have been awesome if they just focus on his dad and the scientist as the pov characters since there' far more fleshed out but I guess they need someone who can be right there on the ground during the thick of it.
No complaints about the big G himself. Dat roar good lord...
...oh and was surprised to see JKT48 posters all over the theater, didn't know they're making a movie about them here lolwut

Oh, it's a film? I thought it was more of a documentary.
Seems like they're pushing it quite a bit, though.
That's based off Google Translate, because my Indonesian skills consist of "selamat pagi"

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.I just watched the season finale (thanks, Aereo).
Ladies and gentlemen… Nick Fury.

I'm impressed by how well they pulled off the crossover with
Captain America: The Winter Soldier. It felt pretty much exactly like a classic comics crossover: it wasn't quite
required viewing, but it certainly helped to fill in the gaps, so it was an itch that was hard to ignore. It worked on me — I almost never see movies in the theaters, because the theater experience tends to suck, but I made an exception for this.
As for the season finale itself: the major plot points were pure cheese, but there was some decent dialogue and Garrett's fate was satisfyingly Whedon-esque. Also, there were enough hints and loose threads to have me looking forward to the next season.
The whole thing is still a bit rough around the edges, but so were the first seasons of both
Buffy and
Angel.

Muhhh, I got all nostalgical today.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0207275/ (this one's not AU)
and
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0112073/there sure are more to add (like the Riders one or Wayne's Manifesto, also some later Don't Blame the Koalas and Wicked Science and more more more) , but Australian shows are the best!
(And also most of them non-existing on DVD and almost impossible to find on the internet)

EDIT: Such a fast edit, thanks god of Youtube.
