Hello! Project Survivor '25 - Round 5 - NAGOYA

Sun Jul 20, 2025 9:22 am

The mass exodie continue! Looks like another bye round...
What's your favorite scary movie?

Please cast your vote in the polls for the two members that you most want to see kicked off the island. Feel free to post your vote in the thread itself, but that will just be for your own enjoyment/trickery--I'm certainly not tallying all that by hand... yet! XD
The poll will run for 48 hours. Once the poll closes, the ONE--or more*--girl with the highest votes will leave the game!
* (if there are ties for first, second, and/or third place, all affected girls are out up until the intended threshold is met--i.e. if we're trying to remove two girls, and one gets the most votes, but two tie for second most, all three of these girls will be kicked out.)

Final Destination. Ok, I dunno if it's my FAVORITE scary movie, but I've seen them all as they came out, and the first movie I'd seen in theaters for at least 5 years was the most recent one so yeah, I guess I'm a bit of a fan. :hehe:

The one that haunts me to this day is The Birds. But I wouldn't say I like it.. necessarily.
The first Saw movie was impressive when it came out cause it was new. But I don't like it. Really.

Silence of The Lambs though. Masterpiece.

I don’t watch scary movies but I have seen a few in my life. I’m not fond of the blood gore ones because it’s just too over the top for me. I like to get spooked more and for that it’s aliens!

The Fourth Kind and Signs were the two that really got to me.

Speaking of Birds, as a kid I’d watch bits of Alfred Hitchcock on Nick at Night. And when we went to Universal studios I requested to go to his Exhibit and they did a 3D version of some of his classics and The Birds was one of them. I thought it was so cool. lol

Stuff like that didn’t spook me but man, stick an alien in there and I’m peaced out!

I don't watch a whole lot of horror films but I guess if I had to pick an all time favorite it would be either Get Out or, if kaiju movies are included, then Godzilla Minus One. I loved that movie so much. Honorable mention to Let the Right One In.

I did see three horror movies this year that I found pretty good. Alien Romulus, 28 Years Later, and Sinners, but it's still too soon to say where they will be given the test of time.

Out of the ones your list my favorite is "The Birds." Not my favorite Hitchcock movie by any means, but perhaps my favorite of his films that would fit into the modern conception of horror.

I love horror, but I'm basic & my head goes blank as soon as I need to remember something. So I'll probably go with The Ring (either version) or The Conjuring.
