Anyway on the Babymetal subreddit the fans are saying that the third girl is being rotated between three different girls

If that’s true then Riho would be one of three girls touring with Babymetal as the third girl.

Edit: seems like you did mention the three girl thing. But really I don’t see why this premise is any less exciting than anything else considering the girl was in fact Riho

And that is why I cautioned to wait another day.

It was pretty clear it was her, multiple media had confirmed it at that point.
At no point was I under the impression she was going to replace Yui-Metal from now on.

That was clear from the start when they introduced the concept of rotating girls to fill the third spot in the introductory MC.
Riho was there on Day 1. A Sakura Gakuin girl was there today. Tomorrow at Glastonbury we'll see yet another girl.

Out of all the places Riho could have popped up, at a BABYMETAL concert I did not expect at all.
All I know is, when there's a Blu-ray of this out somewhere I have to buy it.

the vast majority of BABYMETAL fans simply don't care. because whoever she is, she's not YUIMETAL.

Of course they care.
First thing they all wanted to know: "who is the third girl".
Who is able to take that fabled third spot?

On the BABYMETAL Discord & Reddit as the concert was going on her name came up countless times.
The #BABYMETAL hashtag on Twitter was flooded with "Sayashi Riho" (both English & Japanese).
They knew it wasn't Yui-metal but they sure as hell wanted to see who joined the other two on stage.
Just like they did today.

but for whatever reason they didn't officially introduce her.

I hardly knew anything about BABYMETAL until today, but looking up some stuff since this situation started, that's what their management does.
Mystery, weird announcements, not being 100% clear, saying one thing one day, another the next day.
Their fans seems to find it equally as frustrating as they find it fascinating.

A relative handful of posts on Reddit and Twitter does not represent the majority of fans. The majority of fans became fans of the original three, and any substitute or replacement will never be as good as the original.

Believe me, I understand, you guys are invested in this and your minds are racing with the possibilities. But you really need to take a breath and get some perspective.

Jesus Celedam I don't see what your point is. Other people don't care so we shouldn't? I'm sorry you don't care about something, but you can't tell other people how to feel.

This is a message board for posting activities related to OG. Riho is an OG. Touring as one girl of three with BabyMetal is an activity of hers. We are allowed to talk about this and express our opinion, particularly excitement if that is how we wish to feel.

I don't think we are the ones who require stepping back and having some perspective. You need to chill out. If you spent all your time moderating people's feelings on this forum you'd exhaust yourself.

My guess is that she is working toward becoming a professional dancer for hire, if not already.

It would be cool if she works with Airi as a dancer or choreographs for H!P at some point.

All this just goes to show how awesome Yuimetal was -- it takes three girls to replace her! What would really make me happy is if the reverse were true and Yui was joining UF.
