my guess is this:
HP sometimes does the shooting for the covers on the same day of filming, so with this in mind they probably filmed this at the same time they shot the covers with Kanon. This would make sense since Kanon has the same hairstyle as the covers. It would also make more sense that PV filming occurred on two different days as well since Karin has obviously shorter hair between the dance shot and close-up shot with an obvious haircut.
I'm just gonna ignore this version of the PV tho just because it makes less sense to me than Shuhei's version

I'm really happy to have the chance to see Kanon in one of the PV settings like this.

I hope they have "Yuugure" scenes to be used in a similar way.
Further thoughts in spoilers. If you're tired of seeing it, don't read it.
It's annoying knowing they filmed the closeup scenes, I will assume at the same time (I can't imagine them paying for the labor or time to set the studio space back up, call in the film crew, makeup and hair, etc. at a later date just for Kanon - her position isn't prominent enough to warrant that), and probably just chose not to use them.

The solo ads are fantastic. I'm interested in reading the banner in full.

Hmm which pole and which part of the pole will have the most finger prints ... that is the question.

Our job as idols is that of hopes and dreams. What is an idol? Is it just to sing, dance, and smile? No, surely not. We in Morning Musume believe it's not just that. An idol is someone who dares to speak of hopes and dreams to the end. Even if someone else gives up on it, we are those who remind you of the importance of dreams, that hope still exists.In our 18th year, we express that vision anew as we sing, dance and smile. A new start in our 18th year, we are MM'15.
I love these dramatic promo they're doing for MM, just wondering if it will actually boost their sales.

@nayok
seems like they decided to just go with the idea of having Karin as a temporary member to promote her since she's in the dance shot anyway, which would explain why she's even more focused in Yuugure wa Ameagari. Maybe they went with this because they couldn't be bothered filming extra shots for Kanon for Yuugure wa Ameagari.
also sidenote, I'm so sick of people blaming Zukki saying crap like "she got injured in her free time" like no she didn't, she was injured from rehearsals most likely from their Winter Tour (which was acrobatics and dance focused). I felt horrible knowing she had to apologise in her blog for her company's silly choices.
http://www.tokyohive.com/article/2014/1 ... -practice-Hopefully they'll include her on the DVD version.

^^ I'd say its pretty inspirational, and the fact they mention its their 18th year will probably turn some heads and possibly look into the group and their music. I'd be pretty impressed to see a group live for that long and at least catch their name.
