Hello Dream begins it's 3rd season! Congrats!

This week, behind the scenes footage of OCHA NORMA performing at an idol event for the first time. Plus the moment when OCHA NORMA's major debut single titles were announced to the members. Also, Kenshuusei were asked how they are feeling about the Spring Ability test this year.

- The members were interviewed backstage about their major debut.

- Hello Dream recaps who won awards at last year's test, and ask the Kenshuusei Matsubara and Onoda, who performed last year their thoughts on how they will approach things this year.
- They asked Hashida, Murakoshi, Uemura how will do better this year.
- Ishiyama Sakura wants to put on a more energetic performance this year.
- They asked the four new entries in the test this year, Yoshida, Kawashima, Goto, Maeshima how are they feeling. Maeshima even asked her mom to help choose a song for her and help her practice.

- After rehearsal, staff gathered OCHA NORMA members in the studio and announced their major debut single title to them.
- The First A-side single title is... "Omatsuri Debut da ze!", (a perfect title for the Summer season). They took a few seconds to process it and then got excited. Then they were given a lyrics card. The staff played the instrumental song for them to listen along. But they didn't play it for us though. Hello Dream will share the song in a future episode.
- The members react to their major debut song title.
- The staff member quickly announced the second A-side single is "Koi no Crouching Start", and the members weren't surprised at all. They were just like "oh yeah... we expected that."
- Then they show a digest performance of "Koi no Crouching Start".

A few weeks ago, for the first time in Ohasuta history, they had no Ohagirls to begin the new season. There is a reason. Today they revealed that they have 9 new "Ohagirl Renshuusei" (練習生 ; trainees) candidates. It is announced that one of those "Renshuusei" is new Kenshuusei Goto Hana. Goto Hana is an Ohagirl Renshuusei and a Hello Pro Kenshuusei. She is going to have her earn her way to be the next Ohagirl. There are some talented competition from other companies like Stardust Promotion. The Ohasuta audience determines their work.

Shin Ohagirl e no Michi (The path of the New Ohagirl)

The project to select the "Shin Oha Girl" from among 9 trainees has started!
We want everyone at Ohatomo to witness the challenges of these trainees as they work on live broadcasts on Ohasuta, on location, on our YouTube channel, and in many other places!

We're looking for "themes we want our trainees to try!"

If you were a producer... tell us what challenges you would like your trainees to try!

For example...

Even if it she doesn't win this "audition", Goto Hana will gain some good confidence. It is also a good way to promote the Kenshuusei program

Hello Pro Kenshuusei Recital 2022 ~Spring Public Ability Assessment Test~ on May 3rd

If they don't stream it live this year, I hope they at least put it up on Hello Stream after. I'm happy to have the digest videos, very happy, but the last couple of years have really spoiled me.

Edit: @dearwonderIand on twitter discovered Maeshima Karin still currently seems to be an Algy Girl model after joining the Kenshuusei, since she's still posting to the official Algy Girl blog (her last entry was 3/28). From what they can gather the AG generations last about a year and Maeshima's should be moving on in August. Apparently some AG models go on to become nikopuchi models after.

This episode, the lottery to determine the order of the the Spring Ability test this year is shown. Plus the leader and sub-leader announcements to the OCHA NORMA members, as well as the announcement at the FC event the day before yesterday! Also their official greeting pose for the group is unveiled at the event.

- The Kenshuusei Spring Public Ability Diagnosis Test is 3 weeks away on May 3rd.
- Kenshuusei were gathered together and thought they were just going to comment for Hello! Dream.
- Surprise, they won't be commenting. They were actually called to do a lottery drawing to determine the order of the the Spring Ability test. They will draw a ball with a number from the lottery box.
- One by one they show them picking a ball by seniority order starting with Matsubara. They comment after.
- Murakoshi draws #10, and Kawashima draws #1

Self-produced performance order :

- In addition to the usually free self-produced songs performed every year, the judges want to see the Kenshuusei perform one of seven mandatory challenge songs. The list of songs is already determined by the staff members. They will be judged in that song too. So they have to perform two songs this time if they want to win that coveted "Best Performance" award.

- Kenshuusei were told the seven songs chosen by the staff. Each song has a balance of singing and dancing.

- Before the day of the FC events, the Upfront Representative Nishiguchi is sitting on the chair and OCHA NORMA members are gathered in the studio.
- He reminds them that they have already told them the important stuff for their debut. There is one last thing they haven't announced yet. The announcement of the group's Leader and Sub-Leader.
- He announced these members of OCHA NORMA have the qualifications of a leader and sub-leader. She is Saito Madoka, and the Sub-Leader is Hiromoto Ruli. He tells them the important roles of a leader and sub-leader.
- OCHA NORMA Leader gives her first speech and they do their circle huddle together.
- At the FC event last week, they revealed the leader and sub-leader to everyone.
- The members also decided and revealed the group's official greeting pose that they had meetings about in the previous episodes. With the index finger pointed up, they a draw circle (like a disney wand) and say "OCHA NORMA desu"
- Saito Madoka and Hiromoto Ruli comment on becoming leader and sub-leader.

- Next week, backstage footage of OCHA NORMA at Hina Fes. 2022 and the Kenshuusei reveal the two songs they choose to perform.
