It hasn't even been a year. I see people wanting her to come back a lot and it's pretty selfish (this applies to all retired idols though honestly). People still do this with girls like Eri whenever they pop up and I don't understand why people can't appreciate that these girls don't want to be in the industry any more. If they're happier living a normal, private life, so what? Let them. Whining about them never coming back comes across, to me, as though people don't actually care about what the idol wants.

It's fine to miss them, of course, but I dunno. Make like the retired idols and give it a break.

I think for Sayu, it would be nice to know what will happen.

If she wants to leave, that's perfectly up to her, as much as we miss her, but it'd be nice to know that so we wouldn't have to keep holding out hope for it.
If she plans to come back than it'd be great to know that as well.

Just... being up in the air makes people twitchy (including myself) Humans like to know things we don't like to be in the dark.

I think the difference between Sayu and Eri is Sayu left us waiting (she never said she would retire but only slightly implied she would come back) whereas Eri left because of a medical condition so retirement wasn't out of the question. No news + hope = speculation.

Eh. I don't think it's selfish at all. If you're someone who says "COME BACK SO I CAN WATCH YOU AGAIN" that might be selfish but... eh.

I wish Eri would return back to showbiz. Though I realize she won't and all, I'd be super happy if she did. But I wouldn't want her to unless she wanted to. So I'd want for /her/ to /want to/ return. But saying that is a bit too wordy and eh so. Don't get what's selfish with that at all. As long as no grudges are held or you're unrealistic and irrational about it, what's the harm of liking someone even if they're not active anymore.

As for Sayu -- I'm curious (and impatient) to see what will happen. But she definitely deserves all the break she gets.

Its not really selfish. Sayumi said she will come back so we all expect her to come back eventually. Nothing wrong with speculating as to what exactly she would do when she comes back or wondering when she will come back. We really don't have much to go by and I don't think anyone is actually upset at how long its been since hearing from her. Its not like we are forcing her back into the spotlight, she was the one who said the break wouldn't be permanent and we are all just filled with anticipation. Sort of like if The Walking Dead had a season finale and said they would have a new season, but we wont know when.... (or any tv show for that matter ) Eri on the other hand never made any promises. I have zero expectations of Eri returning and to get upset about her not returning would just be silly.
