Pronunciation is good (really happy about that, it must've been hard), and the music is good - but little things in the lyrics do still lead to it reading like a translation/something not originally written in English. I suppose that's to be expected though. The overall effort is appreciated, and the sentiment behind the song seems lovely.

This is so much better than what I expected, both linguistically and musically. I'm happy they're not changing their style to appeal to non-jpop fans. It's just a very Morning Musume type of song.

The lyrics definitely aren't written by a professional English lyricist for sure, and some parts are especially clunky. But it could have been, and has been, so much worse in the Jpop world. And it's kind of charming in it's own way, that they didn't look to professional English lyricists to write a song. You can see in it's clunkiness, it comes from the heart of the author.

I like the song a lot :) i think though if they held back on using love so much lyrically, it would've been better

Not a fan of the song in itself but very pleasantly surprised about the pronunciation

I really like the song, it's very catchy from what I've heard of it. Kinda hoping it's on the 60th single.

"It starts now" is definitely something that means more in Japanese than in English.
Like, what does that even mean
(in terms of those lyrics, not the actual phrase.)
and yes, I get it "i'm gonna sing.... it starts now" but it doesn't really... have to do with anything at all.

Isn't ALISA the same lady they asked to translate music video on Youtube, and I remember someone said that they ask her to translate it literally. That might be the same case here.
