Morning Musume. '20 Kitagawa Rio's 1st photobook previews

Kitagawa is now 16 years old and joined the group as a member of the 15th term after passing the "Morning Musume. '19 LOVE Audition" in June last year in which there were about 4,500 applicants.
Her first photo book was shot in Tokyo and Okinawa. In Tokyo, she plays the flute in her school uniform and performs ballet, which she had been learning as a child, to show her life-sized appearance. In Okinawa, she tries to wear a swimsuit for the first time and shows her energetic, smiling face and mature expression.
Due to various circumstances, the shoot and release date was postponed, but her long awaited photobook is finally being released! Kitagawa, who is happy about the release of her first photobook, said, "It was my goal to publish a solo photobook, so I worked hard to keep in shape so I wouldn't regret it. I did muscle training and running even during the period of restraint. I also managed my diet. Thanks to that, I was able to achieve a perfect score of 100 points for myself.
She added, "I studied the photobooks of my seniors to create a variety of facial expressions. I was a little nervous about wearing a swimsuit, but the first time in Okinawa was so much fun that I kept getting into the sea even though I don't know how to swim (laughs). Looking back on the shoot, she said, "I'm satisfied with the fact that I was able to express a lot of my specialties such as flute and ballet. Please check out the photobook full of my firsts."
