――さて、先日の「公開実力診断テスト」についてお伺いします。 総括すると、いかがでしたか？

– Well, I’d like to ask you about the Kenshuusei’s Open Trial held on the other day. How do you summarize that event?

まこと：いや～、いろいろ考えさせられましたね。なので、 総括すると疲れました（笑）。全体的な印象としては、 「研修生の中でもキャリアを積んでいる人が、新しい人に負けた日」 といったところかな。

Makoto: Well, I was made to think about various things that day. So it’s quite tiring to summarize it. (laughs) My general impression would be “the day the veterans got defeated by the rookies” or something like that.

――世代交代ということですか？

– Do you mean an alternation of generations is taking place in Kenshuusei?

まこと：いや、世代交代ではない。あの日は、たまたまそうだったというだけの話で。要するに、キャリア組が大きなミスを犯してしまったということです。若い人たちの引き立て役になってしまった。

Makoto: No, it’s not the alternation of generations. It just happened by chance on that day. In other words, the veterans made a very big mistake, so that they happened to end up foils to the rookies.

――キャリア組というのは、具体的には加賀楓さんや井上ひかるさんといったところですよね。

– The veterans you’re talking about will be Kaga Kaede-san and Inoue Hikaru-san and someone.

まこと：そうです。3年前後っている人たちのこと。あの日、 彼女たちは「ハロプロ研修生とはどういうものか？」ということを 見失っていたように僕からは見えました。

Makoto: That’s right. Trainees who have longer career of around 3 years. That day, they seemed to have lost sight of “what is Haropuro Kenshuusei in the first place” to me.
