The dance and song look great!
The outfits are lacking a S/mileage badge though, and Im relieved that they're still wearing miniskirts.
Meimi is giving me major 90s idol feels man. She looks like Namie in that video I posted the other day in the 6th Station band thread.
Also Dawa has really grown up. Shes blossomed into a beautiful young adult and idol. So proud of you Dawa.

What happened with S/mileage? First I got very impressed with a particular album song that was crazy in a good way. Now this single also sounds different and good along with their outfits. It also seems that some of them are finally showing improvements with their voices, their potential is finally starting to show. Bless Meimi's voice. Dawa's voice still sucks though, she's obviously in the group as a pretty face. She's shaping up to be a gorgeous young woman.
Btw, that album song called Shin・Nippon no Susume!...I can hardly tell who started singing it, the first two singers. Were they Kanon and Meimi?

^There are a few voices in that song I don't recognize either @.@ One of them sounds like Kana but then again CAN'T BE cause when did she get so good. lol. The opening is Meimi and Kanon though, that much I'm sure of. Before it goes crazy ahaha.

Meimei in the intro of Shin Nippon no Susume skyrocketed her to the position of my favorite S/mileage member. Her voice is so amazing when she is using her mature voice. But being able to also do the squeaky S/mileage thing shows her versatility.

Meimi is a fun case. She started out pretty badly in the singing department. She had little control, her voice seemed thin, her voice was SUPER high and squeaky for some reason... She wasn't terrible but her was kinda talk-singy, flat, thin. You can hear her audition in this video:

If you would have told me that girl, THAT girl in the video now sings like she does in Shin Nippon no Susume or even how she sings in this new single, there would be no way in hell I would believe you. Her voice is just getting more and more powerful. She was hiding a lot of her talent or something.
