I think most if not all kenshuusei auditioned, it would seem very strange for them not to...a large number of them only joined after failing previous MM auditions.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was only for the ones auditioning. The only girl I really remember being in it is Tanabe. It was like 3 other girls too.

If its the same article I remember I think it was just an article interviewing 4-5 kenshuusei and they just so happened to mention that they were all auditioning. I dont think it was an article about the audition.

Most likely they all audition and many don't make it to the next round with even less getting to the one after.

So, apparently, the "finalists" were leaked out on 2ch. I'm not trusting it 'cause it's 2ch, but here are the girls they listed:

Well, since they're fake, I guess the photo someone posted on Twitter concerning Nagaoka Shiho being half-Russian might be fake too.
I'll put it in spoiler and I'll take it down if you guys don't want rumor stuff here.

edit: but Denki pointed out this is actually a photo Kanaizumi Anbi (who isn't the half-Russian person).

the Japanese word for "fake" is gase (ガセ) was said on those threads, you'll pretty much know that is a red flag.

That's not Nagaoka, that's Kanaizumi Ami.

According to the modeling profile, she is from Japan and Russia.



Also, if these rumors are true (which I highly doubt it), then my self-proclaimed myth of "once you reach the MM finals and fail, there are zero chances to be in the MM finals again (with the exclusion of Tanaka Reina, who was disqualified for being underage the first audition)" being true.
