Taiki Bansei and Otome no Gyakushuu MV previews

So far so good! I was hoping for a little bit more with Taiki Bansei. Like a green screen background and lights shooting all over the place or something... (Like for example, Cute's Dance de Bakoon) The dance shot for Taiki Bansei looks a bit generic too... But I want to see it in action first~!

Otome no Gyakushuu looks perfect. No complaints.

Also Murotan and Rikako look so energetic. Even in photos they are capturing all my attention.

This is bad though. I really like 3rd gen more than the rest of the group.... Its just gets worse as time goes on.

Just from that preview, the editing for Taiki Bansei looks so choppy. Transitions seem too quick.

I hope there's a bit more to the Taiki Bansei PV though.

I want a Meimei-centred song. A strong, powerful song that shows off her vocal talent. Or a solo.

She's definitely the best singer in ANGERME (and arguably in H!P at the moment), so she deserves an actual ANGERME song to show off her voice rather than a musical song or an act during a concert MC. I know there's Shin・Nippon no Susume!, but something more than that would be good.

Whoever said people will take Meimi more seriously as a singer when she doesn't look 12 is actually probably right. I suspect that's why she chopped off her hair, to look more mature. Meimi needs a bit of an image change, though I like her goofball personality so she better keep that

(Not that I'm denying that Meimi has one of the stronger voices in H!P but...)

Excuse you Starra, as long ad C-ute is around, Airi easily takes "best singer".

It is possible that over time Meimi improves her technique and emoting and then surpasses Airi but it's still a long shot.

I agree. Meimi is definitely awesome, not only in control, but in versatility too, but she still has to work on expression.

Yes. I don't know if it's management(probably) but her idol image is always too childish.And I'm sure that's one of her major obstacles. But she would also act like a 12-year old once in a while, so...


Also, I agree that they could have done better Taiki Bansei, yeah it's quite choppy. It's still looks great though. Otome (plus it looks like there's a scene of 3rd gen arriving to join the rest or something of the kind... : ) interesting)

Am I the only one not feeling Taiki Bansei? It feels kind of... basic and repetitive. It's catchy, but there's nothing much to it.

Is there really that much Meimi in Gyakushuu? I haven't listened to the concert rip. And Shin・Nippon no Susume! was a while ago, she's improved since then.

^I know, Taiki Bansei is a bit repetitive... It's, to me, that other song you listen to occasionally here and there when it appears in your playlist.

And Meimi doesn't have THAT many solos in Gyakushuu, but we're still trying to figure out if she sings for the harmonies at all.

not even Sakura "centre", more like just moments where they have a vocally powerful line.
