When magical girls transform other people are not supposed to recognize them in their new forms even though the usually look exactly alike. Maybe that effect has something to do with it?

Whenever I hear the word "rubbish", I think of Top Gear. Whoops.

because it's a British term? XD you need to expand your BBC viewing lol.

i like that Kawaii Girl Japan subtitles their videos for foreign audience, but even though i'm pretty lenient with translations (because i'm just glad somebody is translating) i wish they wouldn't have translated it that way. Kanyon was saying "samui ne?" as a pun for the title of the song, but also poking fun at how Meimi's gag was not funny/falling flat (since "samui"/"it's cold" can be used to mean that in the context of reacting to a joke). anybody that doesn't understand/wasn't listening wouldn't have noticed that with the "rubbish" translation they chose. :o

also, Take-chan's reaction WAS funny. and that may be the first time i've seen Rina throw in commentary of her own (without it being her turn to speak/being asked a question/agreeing with or following the lead of the other girls). i hope she keeps this up! i may come to like her. :3

But they use "rubbish" a lot. Hell, the show's unofficial motto is basically "ambitious but rubbish".
