Morning Musume '16 to be main guest at Anime Matsuri in Texas!

My brother, niece, and I just got interviewed about the concert.

So the concert was solid of course. The difference in girls like Masaki, Haruna, and Eripon in how they dance. They've grown up a lot and look very adult. Eripon made up for borderline ignoring me when I got her autograph. This crowd didn't have that New York intensity but that what happens when it's an anime con and you have non fans.

Don't know how serious he was but the guy who runs the con said something about having them back next year. Mizuki also said "I'll be back!"

It was amazing! I was in the front row. I didn't notice it but one of my friends told me I was on the screen a bunch of times. I was also next to someone who almost kept hitting me because he was doing wotagei. ;-;

Setlist was about the size of LA's it was really good though! The lighting and stage setup was, admittedly, much much better than LA AND New York was and it felt like the girls could actually move on stage. It was such a good show, they even did an MC where they answered fan questions Aika got from people in line. The fan interaction here in Houston has been really really amazing.
However, if they do it again here, I feel like way more fans will show and they'll have to plan for that (And AM's planning has been shit).

Also, me, Vanessa, and Roy all got into the autograph raffle.

It was shorter than New York but longer than most con concerts I've gone to. Some of the songs were the full version which was cool. The MC with Aika felt long but there was a joke were Aika asked the girls who their favorite OG is. Maria said Sayumi and then the other girls said Aika and all hugged leaving Maria by herself all sad. Maria then said Aika too but Aika said it too late. Then they let her hug anyway. It was really cute.

Yea I was kinda chill throughout but One Two Three came on and it was on.

Did the girls perform well? Would you all be able to gauge the reaction from the non-fan side of the crowd as positive?

I had quite a few non-fans around me. There were some guys in behind me who were, at first, pretty much making fun of the fans and telling the girls to run. However by the end they were actually trying to learn the chants to chant along. I heard them trying to repeat the "One!" "Two!" "Three!" call and they joined in on the Zukki call (Though they thought we were saying "Okie" lol)

A couple non fans by me left early. I just don't get why you wait in a line for two plus hours for something you don't really know about, and then leave.
