Yes, each day’s post is for the previous day’s ranking. It’s always been like that. We’ve been doing this for years.

That being said, thank you for posting for Sunday.

A YouTube links for the Distance performance from Bomber-

This one feels much better than The Girls Live performance. It might be the camera work or that the backing wasn't so overpowering.

http://www.billboard-japan.com/d_news/detail/64200/2
Billboard Japan (6/4 - 6/6): 14,151 copies sold

Compare that to C-ute's final album, '℃OMPLETE SINGLE COLLECTION':
http://www.billboard-japan.com/d_news/detail/50712/2
Billboard Japan (2017/05/01~05/07): 13,682 copies sold

Airi's sales are only for the first 2-3 days while C-ute's is the whole week.
Suzuki's first week sales are going to be great. Maybe 20k.

Billboard and Oricon's album sales tend to be close btw, they're almost the same.
C-ute's final album sold 14,456 copies first week on Oricon.

^ That's not an apples-to-apples comparison.

℃-ute's final album was a compilation of previously released material. It didn't get much promotion, and many fans bought it simply to commemorate the disbandment.

Airi's solo debut album is all new material, never released as singles, and it's getting lots of promotion.

(frankly, i'm more surprised by the fact it's been only a year since ℃-ute's disbandment. feels like so much longer.)

I guess that means that C-ute's last album did very well then? Would it have sold 25+ with proper promo?
(Their highest selling was Shinsei Naru with 24k, I wanted the best to beat that album.)

Also, Airi is a soloist, while C-ute is a group, so getting sales like what she is getting is good. I think it's really good.
I actually can't remember the last soloist managed by Up Front that has done this well?

*Edit
I do remember, I think it was Koharu in 2007... But she had a popular anime tie-in....
