^ We have the TGL performances! Feels like somewhat of a nice trade.

I have to disagree. I like the TGL performances well enough for what they are (I will always prefer an audience), but ignoring my preference for concert footage, the Station uploads are great in part because they're uploaded directly by UF and thus very unlikely to be removed. Second-hand uploads of TGL performances are constantly at risk of being flagged and removed by TV Tokyo.

I realize the "they're really dropping the ball" discussion has already taken place though, so I'll try to put it out of my mind and just wait to see what happens over time.

It must have been especially difficult for you, what with the misunderstanding that surfaced right after you had joined the group…

Niigaki: Prior to joining Morning Musume, I had passed a certain audition and I got to appear on a TV commercial. I wasn’t a part of any agency; I had done it as a private individual. Yet, people mistook it as me having been able to join the group all because of some sort of a connection. So they started bashing me. All of a sudden it felt like I was starting in the group from a losing position. People at our concerts would be cheering on the other three when they were doing their self-introductions, yet they would start booing during mine. They would hold up signs that said hurtful things about me.

Times sure have changed, just look at all the girls in H!P today with prior experience, even coming from other idol groups (Momohime, Saori, Manaka,.. to name but a few).

On the Platinum Era:

— So this was actually a rather positive period in time for you?

Niigaki: Yes. This might be surprising to people, but that time period was just so much fun. The songs we were releasing were all so great, and since the average age of our members was relatively high, we could have mature conversations together. When there are kids in the group you always have to tell them to properly greet others, or stand straight in line or whatever — things that have nothing to do with performance and technique. But this was a time when there was none of that, and there was no discord between the members. It was just a very stable environment. There was a strong sense of unity between us and we all felt very ambitious about our activities.

some shocking news. It is announced that the Hello! Project fan bar "Hello! Tribe" in Akihabara has decided to close the business around March 2019, no exact date yet.

Last year, they had made the same decision to close too, but with fan encouragement, they decided to keep continue going. This time it is really serious. The manager wants to close up shop and concentrate on starting another business of his own with his friends in April next year. Everyone's life has a "Y Jiro no Tochuu" (a Y path to choose)

Hello! Tribe had over 12,000 wota visit the bar to date. Next month is the 5th anniversary. The owner thanks everyone for visiting and future visits. They want this place to be where you can talk about Hello! Project until the last day. Please come and visit while you can.

いつもハロー☆トライブを応援してくださってありがとうございます。

この度、ハロー☆トライブは2019年3月を持って、営業を終了することにしました。

具体的な閉店日は引き渡し工事の工期を考慮に入れないといけませんので、
決まり次第お知らせ致しますが、来年3月末日前後になるのではないかと思っています。

昨年も同じような時期に閉店を告知したことがあったのですが、その際には皆さんからのたくさんの励ましがあって、今日まで続けることができました。

しかし、このような恵まれた環境でお店をやっていながら、この先10年、私自身のビジネス人生のラストスパートに際し、いろいろ考えることも増えていきました。誰の人生にも「Y字路の途中」はあるものですね。

そんななか、来年4月から新しい事業を始めます。
もともとソフトウエア開発を20年やって来ました。
今回、人事系の友人らとともに新しく会社を作りますので、このタイミングでお店を閉めて、身も心もこちらに集中したいと思っています。

ハロー☆トライブはこれまで、のべ1万2千人以上のハロオタのご来店がありました。おかげさまで来月５周年を迎えます。私自身、いろんな経験をさせていただきました。

これまでお越しいただいた方、そして、これからご来店される方にも心から感謝します。ラストの日まで皆さんがハロプロを楽しく語れる場所でありたいと思いますので、お時間がある方は、ぜひハロー☆トライブにお越しください。

閉店後はたまに飲み会なども企画しようと思っています。
