Hey people are entitled to like any member they want, however, in my opinion, a lot of people I have seen have been suckered in. It is an opinion, popular, unpopular, indifferent? That is something I can only leave up to you. Fact is, Riho does sing a hell of a lot more lines than the others, and she sings them, in my opinion, pretty poorly. If your opinion is different, then awesome, life would be insanely boring if everyone liked and disliked the same thing.

As for remembering Nacchi? Who could forget such a strong singer?

I really don't think anyone here falls for hyped up things in the way you're thinking, tbh. For the record, I was a Riho fan before she was ever in MM。. And also, it was my first time stanning a front girl in years. I'm sure I'm not the only one who liked her before she actually got in/became centre.

Also if people are truly "suckered" in then they're stupid. But I don't think that applies to anyone here.

PS My point about Nacchi was that she sang a lot more than Riho (and Reina and Ai for that matter), so people complaining about Riho getting heaps of lines need to remember than Nacchi got a whole lot more. I doubt we'll be seeing a single where Riho's the only one who gets lines (like Furusato, for example).

In the last couple of singles, Riho has sung about as much as Reina/Mizuki/Masaki and Sakura has just been a little bit behind.
Riho has improved as well, which one could easily tell at Reina's graduation concert. Last year she didn't sound great, nor did she pull off all the lines she got for the fall tour. But things have changed, especially when it comes to how much she sings in the singles. She's a front girl, yes. She sings a lot, yes. But she hardly sings everything nor is she the only one who will be heard in the songs. And the thing is, even if she WOULD be singing 99% of the song, it's a very high possibility that she will sound hell of a lot better than expected since her voice lessons definitely are paying off.

Whether one likes it or not is a whole different matter. But saying she can't sing or that she will sing "almost everything" is just being silly because that's not how it is nor will be.
And no, I don't stan Riho. I didn't start liking or agreeing with her singing until just recently because, surprise, she has improved. A lot.

People really need to realise that being fans of the non-ace is better now that back then. Even in the early days the c/ws and album tracks were dominated by Nacchi. Yeah, Asuka got a few lines, but then she left.

(Not that I'm complaining. I like a lot of MM。's older songs even if Nacchi's voice isn't my favourite. But. Y'know. More than 1 or 2 girls actually get screentime in PVs and whatnot nowadays.)

Picking favorites and having opinions are fine and good but when you start making statements that "people are suckered into Riho's hype" and implying they're stupid or have taste less discerning that yours, you better back it up with a more solid and convincing argument than hiding behind "it's just my opinion" please.

For the record, I also think she's far from flawless and she had more than her fair share of cringe-inducing moments singing. That said, she's still among the better and more stable vocalist and one of the best performers we've got so give credit where credit's due.

Hey I have made my opinion. I said before it is up to you if you agree or not, this isn't a presidential debate, I don't need facts or anything, it is my opinion. I could link to some examples of it, but I don't think it would be fair on the people as they are entitled to their choices and whatever reasons, no matter how flimsy or firm they are, assisted their decision.
