My sentiments exactly. Tsunku's more schizophrenic, flip-flopping experimental phases usually doesn't translate well into increased sales numbers or interest from fans let alone the general public.

Better to let this "cool, electronic, dance-centric Musume phase" that has been making some good impressions on people run its course naturally and keep the experiments to coupling songs/album tracks in the meantime so when the momentum died down and it's time to shift gears they already have a good idea where to go next instead of throwing untested ideas to the wall and hoping one sticks.

As for the rumored release date, that's kinda cutting it close... less than 2 months away and no official announcements yet?
Timing looks good for another #1 oricon weekly so I'm hoping this is true but they really need to start revving up the promotion machine anytime soon now.
