Maachan is just loads of awesome and we haven't seen all of her just yet.
She's jumped into my second favorite in no time (just after Riho), her tennen character (natural airhead), cuteness and several talents make her irresistible.

1. 6期 - Four girls of incredible amazing awesome.
2. 9期 - Four girls of amazing awesome.
3. 3期 - One girl of awesome.
4. 8期 - Two girls of incredible awesome and one slow grower.
5. 7期 - One girl of greatness.
6. 5期 - Two girls of greatness, one slow grower and one I just can't get into.
7. 10期 - Two girls of incredible awesome, one grower and one I can't stand.
8. 4期 - Two girls of greatness, one grower and one that keeps going up and down.
9. 1期 - Two girls of greatness, two growers and one I don't care about.
10. 2期 - One girl I really like, one grower and one I don't really care about.
The average of the MM girls are just "greatness" though. xD

1. 1st - All 5 girls are awesomely flawless. I love them so much.
2. 5th - Solid generation. Makoto is the only one I don't care about. And Konno is my #2 favourite H!P member ever so.
3. 9th - Awesomely awesome.
4. 10th - On the same level as 9th. Might end up passing them.
5. 8th - Felt a bit mismatched as a generation, but I love all three members a lot.
6. 7th - I love Koharu.
7. 8th - I love Maki.
8. 4th - Only Rika is acceptable.
9. 6th - Reina and Sayu are okay but I don't really care about this generation as a whole.
10. 2nd - I only like Kei.
I like them all except for the last three. As generations. Idk.

A lot of people say that 9th Gen is the strongest Gen, but I'm going to have to politely disagree. I'd give it to either 6th gen or 10th gen.
9th gen has one really major talent, Riho. Zukki is funny and can sing, but she stays in the background too much. Eripon and Mizupon are really weak in my opinion. Mizupon is boring and, though she has a decent singing voice, she sings boring. I'm not sure what Eripon is going for. I love the fact that she loves Risa and all, but she's kind of all over the place for me. She can't sing really well either. I think I'd put Eripon as a grower now that I think about it.
If we looks at 6th gen, 3 out of 4 of them were GOOD singers with interesting personalities, while the 4th made up for it with a pretty amazing personality. The only thing that sets them back really was they were too shy when they first started, when they needed to be upbeat to bring in fans. I'll give 9th Gen credit, they are amazingly perky, which puts them one point above 6th. However, the talent that stemmed from 6th is pretty amazing
The reason I say 10th is so strong is because they resemble 6th, EXCEPT they are talkative! We have Haruka, the sarcastic and snide kind of take-no-bullshit character we saw in Miki. She also has a VERY unique voice (Like Miki) and had a fanbase going into MM (Like... Miki). I see her becoming a lot like Miki in the future, with lots of lines and a snarky personality.
Ayumi reminds me of Reina, though mostly for being all around decent - not really personality yet. Reina was a decent singer and a decent dancer when she first got in, which Ayumi has the advantage of being. Ayumi is great, but personality wise she's the weakest and I'd like to see her take on a stronger personality. Lucky for her, she makes up for it by being VERY talented. She has a very awesome personality that I think will grow into something Sayumi like, since Sayu is her idol.

I kinda relate the 9th gen to the 4th with Riho/Zukki being the new Aibon/Tsuji and Eripon/Mizupon the new Ishiyoshi. But seeing how low 4th gen is on your ranking I dont know if it will help xD

1- 8th: Favorite Musume ever LinLin. JunJun is awesome too. Pandas really helped me get into Morning Musume and my fandom for the group took a fatal hit when they graduated.
2- 4th: I got into H!P because of Nono (second favorite Musume) and Aibon. Rika and Yossi are great too.
4- 7th: Third favorite Musume. This girl is pure win and I still can't believe she left the group back in 2009.
5- 6th: Sayu (love), Miki (like a lot), Reina (like), Eri (okay). Pretty solid generation.
6- 9th: Also very solid, I think they would be a great sub-group. Mizuki is my next favorite when Sayu leaves, no doubt about it.
7- 1st: I love Kaori and Yuko, but it also has Ishiguro (one of my least favorite H!P girls).
8- 2nd: I love Mari and Sayaka. 2nd and 1st gen are pretty much tied for me.
