Last Kiss and Motto are two of the best H!P songs, but as a unit, 2nd gen Tanpopo is ace. Really was a perfect matching of different personalities and different strengths.

Koi wo Shichaimashita (one of my very early favorite H!P songs), Oujisama, Nenmatsu, BABY CRY, I & YOU & I & YOU & I, Otome Pasta ni Kandou. Yup, I love 2nd gen I also prefer it members-wise, I never really liked Ishiguro so Rika and especially Aibon (I got into H!P because of W) were a big upgrade.

At least we all agree that 3rd gen was a train wreck

As mentioned in another thread, I translated the Morning Musume MC from the DMM tour. Very sloppily and quick and whatever, so there's probably lots of typos and stuff. And Niigaki's and Mitsui's I skipped. But... it's funny. Iikubo's, especially, made me laugh a lot.

Niigaki went on abt how "The Peace" was fun and how she was re-realizing that she's a part of MM.
Aika talked abt how she was amazed at everything (appearing on stage with DMM and Ishiguro being there etc).

Masaki: I can't compare at all to DMM yet, but... I was watching the rehearsals all the time. And in Shabondama where they do this powerful move with their neck, I was impressed by how they weren't embarrassed or anything at all to do a move like that, because I still am. So I want to study and learn that how to be like them.
Tsunku: Ah, right, it's a bit embarrassing huh? Don't worry, for oldies like that it's not embarrassing~

Daaishi: When DMM was MM I was watching them on TV all the time, from like when I was 4 or so. And I really can't believe that I'm standing on the same stage as them right now, so even ebfore we were going up on stage just by going a little bit closer to them I was sweating about what to do. It's really fun to be up here.
Tsunku: Did you touch any of them?
Daaishi: Touch? Ah, in the peace we were in pairs right? At that time... I touched Kusumi-san a little bit.

Ikuta: For me who's aiming to be the number one idol in the world, watching DMM has really helped me study and learn a lot so I feel that I have come one step closer to be the world number one.

Tsunku: So, Fukuchan what about you? As the world number one Hello!wota?
Fukuchan: Yeah, so, yeah, thank you so much for creating Morning Musume. ;-; I've been alive for 15 years and for 14 of those I've been a Hello!wota. So this is like, those that don't now of Hello!Project really lose 10 times over again. Yeah, and earlier when watching rehearsal I was so happy it almost felt as though I was going to have a nosebleed.

Sayashi: During The Peace, right before when Ishikawa-san was going to say her line, I was patting her shoulder a little bit. And earlier in rehearsal, this is the frist time I do a shuffle with them, and then during rehearsal we were really clsoe and I was really nervous and I couldn't touch her at all then and Ishikawa-san then told me that "It's okay to poke me hardly!" and that really made me feel better and a bit more confident.

Zukki: Yeah, I'm Suzuki. Earlier Abe-san came up to me and did this (cuddled close or something idek) and she asked me how old I am. And then I answered that I'm 13 and that was really.... eh, what should I say... I mean, Abe-san has been in Morning Musume even before I can remember and, what should I say, so, like I was nervous and even when I was dancing I was nervous but I really feel happy that I was able to dance with them. It was lots of fun.

Kudou: This time we're doing it with DMM, and now to do this with DMM and to do it at Budoukan was the first time for me. So, I was really nervous but when we did The Peace I was dancing with Yasuda-san-
Tsunku: You're gonna bully her?
Kudou: No! We were dancing, and at that time Yasuda-san always smiles at me and at that-
Tsunku: You felt disgusted?
Kudou: No, no, no! I was thinking that Yasuda-san was really cute-

Kudou: -like, to be able to be smiling like that all the time, I hope I can become like that too.

Iikubo: The setlist for this concert is all songs that I sang at karaoke and at home when I was small so I was really excited before it started. And then today when we were able to do The peace with Dorimusu, when we were paired up I was unbelievably paired up with Nakazawa-san!
Tsunku: What kind of unbelievable?
Iikubo: I was surprised, and felt like "Am I good enough?!" and I was worried what if I screw up and such-
Tsunku: You might get scolded, right?
Iikubo: Yes, the pressure was just amazing, but when I was able to do it properly she was smiling gently at me and that made me relax and, realize that a person who has a kanreki (60th birthday)-
Tsunku: Eh, kanreki?
Niigaki: Kanreki?
Iikubo: Eh, what does kanreki mean?
Tsunku: Kanreki is 60 years old y'know-
Niigaki: She'll get angry!
Iikubo: *laughs*
Niigaki: Stop stop you can't say things like that!
(lots of laughter and picking on Iikubo)
Tsunku: You wanted to say kanroku (dignity) right? Yeah, it's okay it somehow came across anyway.
Iikubo: Ah, either way, it was a really, really touching song!!
Tsunku: Ah, Iikubo, how old is your mom again?
Iikubo: She became 36...
Tsunku: Ah, Nakazawa is older~

Reina: Yeah, the reason I came to like Morning Musume was because of Goto Maki and that we were able to go on stage together today made me really happy and during rehearsal I just kept staring at her. And today for the first time, we made eye contact during the song. This was the first time I ever felt like this, like, my heart skipped a beat.
Tsunku: Ahahaha really?
Reina: Like, I'm really moved right now.
Tsunku: You haven't talked to her yet today?
Reina: Ah, we've greeted... Ah, I got her live dvd! I haven't said anything but the thanks for that and like, I really want to take a photo with her but... I get so nervous I can't ask her.
Tsunku: Yeah you surprisingly get scared easily huh~
Reina: lololol
Tsunku: Pretending to be a yankee and everything-
Reina: lolololol Please stop..

Sayumi: Yeah I also loved Morning Musume and watched them do The Peace, and to be able to do The Peace with all the members that I saw on TV --- well, not really all of them ---

Sayumi: Well, almost everyone-
Tsunku: You can just say All of them~
Sayumi: To be able to stand here with ALMOST all of them is really like.. a yume (dream), really like DREAM... And, well, as of late we have become quite the senpai too and I have become the senpai that they watch on TV and what I really thought today was that the three of us at the top really have to feel proud and take care of this Musume and do our best from now on.
